All current Opengear models support the X2 (aka "Cisco Straight") RJ45 serial pinout. Select models support both X2 and X1 (aka "Cisco Rolled") RJ45 serial pinout as a per-port software configurable option.
Legacy Opengear devices may be equipped with either X2, X1 or X0 (aka "Classic") RJ45 serial pinout.

Models supporting Cisco Rolled X1:
- OM2200 (software selectable per port, defaults to X2)
- IM7200 (software selectable per port, defaults to X2)
- CM8100 (Local Console port is X1, device ports 1-48 are X2)
- CM8100-10G (device ports 1-96 are software selectable per port, defaults to X2)
- IM4200 -X1 variant (e.g. IM4248-2-DAC-X1-US) - End of Life
Models supporting Classic X0 pinout:
- IM4200 -X0 variant (e.g. IM4248-2-DAC-X0-US) - End of Life
- CM4100 - End of Life
