The current cellular firmware repository's fingerprint is abca48a325bedbfe50dbc686477f1685b0fc636b (30 May 2018).
Opengear products with multi-carrier support contain cellular modems whose software/configuration can be changed for use in specific carrier networks. Normally, carrier selection is performed in the UI by selecting from a list of locally-stored carrier configurations. This automatically applies the new firmware configuration to the cellular modem and resets it.
The list of available carrier configurations may be updated by having the product download new files from a cellular firmware repository hosted on Opengear's public release server. This allows your device to have the most up-to-date list of carriers and versioned firmware for the supported cellular modems. The files are currently hosted in a repository at http://ftp.opengear.com/download/cellfw/
Cellular modem firmware files are different to Opengear product firmware files as they are run on the internal cellular modem modules. Advanced users may choose to (manually) mirror the public cellfw directory and set config.cellmodem.firmware.update.url to point at their mirror.
