Connect to the Operations Manager for the first time

Note: For a more comprehensive guide to initial configuration, please refer to the Quick Setup Guide which is included in Operations Manager kit and available for download here.

Initial configuration may be performed by connecting to the web UI via HTTPS, or by connecting to the CLI shell via SSH or by connecting to the local serial console.

The factory default network configuration is:

Interface	NET1	Static IPv4	192.168.0.1 / 255.255.255.0
		Dynamic IPv4	DHCP client
		Automatic IPv6	SLAAC + DHCPv6 client
Interface	NET2	Static IPv4	-
		Dynamic IPv4	DHCP client
		Automatic IPv6	SLAAC + DHCPv6 client

The factory default network services are:

Web UI	HTTPS server	TCP port 443
CLI shell	SSH server	TCP port 22

The factory default credentials are:

Username	root
Password	default

Note: These credentials must be changed at first login.

If you're unable to reach the Operations Manager, you may wish to perform a factory reset.

For automated configuration, the Operations Manager enables Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP, ZTPv6) clients by default on NET1 & NET2.
